The surgery, which opened its doors in September 2007, is the only NHS doctor’s surgery in Leeds city centre and is currently registering patients who live within the city centre area.

Terri Palliser, the 2000th patient, a recruitment consultant at Reed Accountancy commented: “I live in a new apartment in Leeds city centre and was delighted to discover that the infrastructure for city dwellers includes a GP surgery. One Medicare’s doctors surgery offers patients a wide range of NHS services, including advice from an expert team of doctors and nurses with referrals to consultants when required. Specialist services also include a Drop-in Sexual Health Clinic in partnership with the Terrence Higgins Trust, and private travel and flu vaccinations.

Since its launch the surgery has responded consistently to residents demands and are now offering patients extended opening hours as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8.00am – 6.00pm

Tuesday and Thursday: 7.00am – 7.00pm

Saturday: 10.00am – 2.00pm
